Rocking horses are so fun to ride on…until the day when the rider pitches forward and gets a big wooden knock right in the face. Or, heaven forfend, the teeth.

Which is why OFFI’s neat, sleek Baltic Rocking Horse caught our attention. Instead of a saddle-like affair, the Baltic Rocking Horse has a curved cane chair. Riders nestle their (adorable) bottoms back against the chair, grab on to the horse’s head-handles, and rock themselves into a trance.

The old-school painting on the head looks nice too, doesn’t it? So much better than one of those yarn-hair-and-plastic-eyes rocking horses out there in the stores.
